For perfect mascara application, keep your head facing forward, then take your mirror down underneath your chin, peering onto your reflection with your eyes ONLY. Apply mascara to top lashes, see how you can see the entire lash from root to tip without creating lines on your forehead. Wiggle wand from side to side, coating each lash whilst separating.
For lower lashes, keep your head facing forward, take mirror upward whilst seeing your reflection, see how your lower lashes lift away from your skin using the same wiggle as above and observe how much less mess you’ll make.
